Critical Care Nursing Services In The Icu

Providing specialized critical care nursing services in the ICU, ensuring the health and safety of patients with complex medical needs. This role requires delivering expert clinical care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to unit policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify changes in their condition.
• Administer medications, including infusion drips and advanced therapies like balloon pumps and CRRT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care and clinical interventions accurately using the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Have prior experience with Meditech EMR and large facility ICU units.
• Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Be driven, adaptable, and engaged, with excellent communication skills.
