Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:

Seeking a travel Telemetry RN to provide exceptional patient care on a 7A-7P shift in a busy medical-surgical unit. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic hospital environment, delivering high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and use GE telemetry systems for continuous assessment.
  
  
• 
  Perform procedures such as IV starts, Foley catheter placement, and chest tube removals.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately within the Meditech EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with at least 1 year of acute care hospital telemetry experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and basic patient care procedures.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  
  
• 
  Experience caring for post-op CABG patients is a plus.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
