Job Description Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors in April 2025 as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking a Dietitian (Full-Time) The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Provides nutritional assessment and intervention to patients. Job Duties/Responsibilities Provide nutrition assessments and interventions to patients per established standards. Provide ongoing nutrition strategies for complex, high risk patients per established standards. Develop and review guidelines used for nutritional assessment and intervention of patients. Review medical documentation and oversee nutrition care provided. Follow up with high risk patients as needed/requested per established standards. Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and quickly adjust to changes when needed. Assess information as needed from all data sources (data base, electronic charts, outside providers, etc.) Attend all department specific training and demonstrate proficiency related to safety and job-related hazards. Effectively communicates expectations. Document nutrition assessment in the patient’s medical record. Performs other job duties as assigned/required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required. Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) required. In good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Dietetic internship. Washington DC RDN License required. 1-2 years' experience required.
