Phlebotomist

Collect blood and fluid samples using designated equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Explain procedures to patients and gather relevant health information in a professional manner. Accurately record and document patient/resident data, following all safety and asepsis protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing guidance on procedures. Role: Phlebotomist Responsibilities: Collect blood and fluid samples using designated equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing guidance on procedures. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program or relevant experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required. Key Duties: Perform sample collection during rotating shifts, primarily working days on a 7 on/7 off schedule. Adhere to safety, asepsis, and standard procedures during specimen collection.
