Job Title: Mendix Developer Location: Remote Experience Required: 4+ Years Contract Duration: 6 Months Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only Certification: Mendix Advanced or Expert Developer Certification (Mandatory) Preferred Domain: Insurance, Banking Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mendix Developer with 4+ years of hands‑on experience to design, build, and deploy robust, scalable, and user‑centric applications. The role bridges business requirements and technical execution, owning the development and delivery of enterprise‑grade Mendix solutions. Key Responsibilities Application Development & Architecture Design, develop, and implement complex Mendix workflows (App Studio / Studio Pro) to digitize and automate core business processes. Configure user tasks, automated decisions, multi‑approver logic, and SLA tracking within workflows. Create complex business logic and automated processes using Mendix microflows and nanoflows. Develop application domain models, data models, and database structures. Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs. Integrations & Customization Connect Mendix applications with enterprise systems and legacy databases using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and JSON. Extend native Mendix functionality through custom Java actions, JavaScript, and CSS when necessary. Configure security, user roles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms within the platform. Testing, Deployment & Optimization Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure applications are error‑free and performant. Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability to handle large‑scale data. Manage cloud deployments (Mendix Cloud, AWS, or Azure). Agile Delivery & Mentorship Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives). Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and QA teams. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience building Mendix solutions. Platform Expertise: High proficiency in Mendix visual modeling, page building, and data modeling. Web Technologies: Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Atlas UI. Database: Strong command of SQL for database design, querying, and optimization. Version Control: Hands‑on experience with Git or Mendix Team Server for version control and branching. Certification: Mendix Advanced or Expert Developer Certification is mandatory. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to interpret complex policies into structured logic.
