You will engage in state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging, working alongside a passionate cadre of medical professionals, all while providing essential diagnostic information that offers patients peace of mind. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, clearly explaining each step with warmth
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
- Operate and uphold the functionality of imaging equipment, making timely reports on any malfunctions
- Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about the latest advances in sonographic imaging practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques along with patient positioning expertise
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
