Senior Engineer I Land Development Design

What You'll DoAs a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, including:Preparing site and civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and public-sector projectsDesigning roadway, grading, drainage, stormwater management, sediment control, water, and sewer infrastructure systemsDeveloping technical analyses, exhibits, graphics, reports, and supporting documentationCoordinating with project managers, clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agenciesManaging project tasks to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectationsSupporting multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentMentoring and training junior engineering and design staffContributing technical expertise throughout all phases of project development QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and land development designExperience working on projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan areaStrong understanding of site development design, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, sediment control, roadways, and utility systemsProficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detailExperience with Montgomery County projects is preferredMaryland Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required Why Soltesz?At Soltesz, we are committed to excellence, innovation, and professional growth.
