Job Responsibilities In the teacher's absence, follow the lesson plans provided to ensure programming associated with core curriculum and behavioral skills. Follow behavior management plans for students. Assist and collaborate with the administration, school counselor, staff, parents and students on matters pertaining to academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral goals. Maintain appropriate records and protect confidentiality of data. Report to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Appropriate State of Iowa licensure including Substitute Authorization Certificate. Experience in classroom teaching PreK‑12th grade preferred. Initiative to be a self‑starter. Intuitive to the needs of students. Flexibility in assignment given. Ability to use good judgment.
