Travel RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary We currently have a client in Raleigh, NC looking for a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help provide quality patient care during this COVID‑19 crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Qualifications Candidates must possess phenomenal efficiency, attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, and compassion. Requirements Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Current CPR or BCLS certification. Preferred certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families. Work Experience At least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan. Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. Perform timely and accurate documentation.
