Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens Family Medicine coverage at an outpatient clinic serving an underserved patient population in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Position Overview Job Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Family Medicine Setting: Outpatient Clinic Location: Goldsboro, NC Patient Population: Underserved Average Daily Volume: 18 patients EMR: Cloudcraft Work Style: Team-based Support Staff: MAs, RNs, and Care Coordinators on site Call Responsibilities: None Telehealth: No Schedule & Assignment Start Date: Jan 3rd, 2027 Assignment Length: 6 months (potential 6 month extension) Schedule: M 7:30-5, T-TH 7:30-4:30, Fri 7:30-1 Provider Requirements Role: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Experience: Minimum of 2 years Board Certification: Required Licensure: Active North Carolina license DEA: Required Supervising Physician: Yes Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment: Required Credentialing Credentialing Timeframe: Fast turnaround Insurance Credentialing: Yes Dress Code & Interview Attire: Business casual or scrubs Interview: Video prior to confirmation Travel & Reimbursement Hotel Reimbursement: Yes Mileage Reimbursement: Yes Mileage Cap: 120 miles About TinkBird Healthcare Staffing TinkBird is a comprehensive healthcare recruiting and job placement firm specializing in locum tenens and permanent medical staffing.
