Automotive Service Technician

Sunwise Auto Group is looking for automotive service technicians with all levels of experience to join our growing and expanding team at Weatherford BMW. Responsibilities

• Receiving and carrying out repair orders as dispatched
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Performing quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Always maintaining an organized and clean workspace
• Communicating directly and efficiently with service advisors and parts department employees
• Demonstrating behaviors consistent with employer's values in all interactions
• Other duties given by supervisor, as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of automotive technician experience
• Automotive dealership experience preferred
• Highline or European experience a plus
• Automotive technical training or certification from an accredited automotive technical school preferred
• ASE certification a plus
• Smog license a plus
• Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Great communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation

The service technician position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include base hourly compensation of between $20.00 and $50.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

• Hourly and flat rate based on experience and certifications.
