The Opportunity E3 XPS is hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day coordination of staging, shipments, installs, and dismantles while building scalable systems as we grow. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong judgment, relentless follow-through, and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality . You’ll work directly with exhibit technicians and field teams to ensure projects are executed accurately and on time—every time . When conditions change (short staffing, shifting schedules, last-minute client needs), you stay calm, solution-driven, and focused on execution. What You’ll Do Own daily scheduling for shipments, staging, installs, and dismantles to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality execution Manage operational coverage and workload balancing; adjust schedules proactively when team members are out or priorities shift Forecast staffing and labor requirements 30, 60 and 90 days ahead Proactively recruit exhibit technicians, traveling supervisors and other operations employees Lead and develop a team of 15-25 exhibit technicians: hire, train, coach, and retain high performers Travel (~10%) to supervise installs, reinforce standards, and train teams in the field Support execution by working hands-on as needed to learn products, process flow, and field realities Perform final quality checks and prep documentation (including photos) for internal and client confirmation Coordinate freight logistics: schedule shipments, create bills of lading , manage crate labeling, and ensure accurate paperwork Schedule labor for local installs and dismantles; coordinate internal teams and external partners when required Coordinate travel arrangements for team members attending shows Identify process gaps and implement improvements that increase speed, accuracy, safety, and accountability Drive continuous improvement initiatives as the operations function scales What Success Looks Like Projects ship and installs on time every time Schedules, ownership, and expectations are clear across warehouse and field teams Technician retention improves and the team culture reflects pride, consistency, and accountability Processes become more scalable—fewer errors, smoother installs, better communication What We’re Looking For Growth-minded leader excited to help scale operations in a company growing 15% year over year Strong scheduling and coordination skills; able to juggle people, priorities, deadlines, and last-minute changes High attention to detail with the ability to spot issues before they impact delivery, customer experience, or cost Comfortable moving between desk-based coordination and hands-on operational work throughout the day Calm, decisive problem solver who keeps teams moving when conditions change Process improvement mindset; Lean / Green Belt is a plus Grit + ownership—no task is beneath you when the team needs support Must Haves Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (required) 5+ years of operations experience Strong background in employee recruiting and retention —teams want to work with you and for you Experience in one or more of these environments: warehouse, construction, field services, manufacturing operations, product support, events/live production, facilities management , or similar Collaborative personality who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment #J-18808-Ljbffr E3 XPS
