An excellent opportunity is available for a board-certified Veterinary Medical Oncologist or a residency-trained clinician nearing completion who is seeking to work within a highly collaborative, multi-site specialty environment.
Based in Mandeville, Louisiana, this role offers exposure to a diverse caseload supported by a strong network of specialists and advanced clinical resources.
Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information
This animal hospital is part of a well-established, veterinarian-led network delivering 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty care. The facility is AAHA-accredited and continues to expand its capabilities, including the development of a brand-new, purpose-built hospital designed to significantly enhance clinical space and resources. The service operates in close partnership with a nearby sister hospital, allowing seamless access to additional advanced diagnostics and specialist support.

The hospital offers a wide range of specialty services including Medical Oncology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency care, with plans to expand Critical Care services. Collaboration with a nearby facility provides access to Neurology, Radiology, and additional advanced treatments.

The team consists of experienced specialists, dedicated emergency clinicians, skilled veterinary nurses, and support staff. The hospital also supports a strong training environment with rotating interns, specialty interns, and
residents contributing to patient care and service development.

Qualifications Required
Applicants must be board certified or have completed, or be in the process of completing, a residency in veterinary oncology accredited by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM).
Salary
We offer highly competitive base salaries tailored specifically for board-certified and residency-trained veterinary specialists, with additional production opportunities that can significantly increase overall earnings. We also offer no negative accrual, supporting financial stability while you focus on high-quality specialist-level care. Sign-on bonuses are available up to $100K depending on specialty, experience, and location.
