Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Multi-Specialty Healthcare system seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their team.
- Responsibilities will include both the OR and the clinic.
- The Physician Assistant will run their own clinic which includes seeing both new and follow-up patients.
- Specific responsibilities includes: first assisting, running clinics, post and pre-operative care, H&P s, rounding, casting, writing prescriptions and managing records.
- This is 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Successful candidate should be PANCE certified.
- The group requires some orthopedic experience but will train a PA with some surgical experience.
- The group prefers candidates with some ties to the general region.
- The location is in within the Newburgh, NY area.
- The area provides many universities, relative affordability, very good schools, and many great outdoor activities.
- Compensation: depends on experience level and includes an incentive bonus.
- Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vacation, STD, LTD, CME and 401k profit sharing.
