Assistant Program Coordinator

Overview Supports and assists the Program Coordinator in the operations, supervision, and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with Behaven Kids’ philosophy and mission. Responsibilities Assist the Program Coordinator in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care. Supervise and monitor direct‑care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency. Identify, monitor, and implement treatment goals and objectives. Perform duties of the Program Coordinator in their absence. Prepare, update, and maintain documentation and children’s records. Provide orientation, training, and development opportunities for staff. Ensure a safe, structured learning environment. Interact with children in a professional, positive manner. Communicate effectively with parents, peers, and supervisors. Ensure compliance with state licensing, health department, Behaven Kids policies, and fire and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School degree (required). Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, human services, or a related field (preferred). Combination of education and experience may be accepted as a substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in an active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
