Take on a fulfilling role supporting elementary-aged students as a full-time school Occupational Therapist in a collaborative educational environment near Morristown, NJ. There is flexibility for candidates seeking part-time work; two part-time OTs may be considered to share the position.

Your impact will reach across three elementary schools, providing skilled occupational therapy interventions to a caseload of approximately 30 students. Most therapy occurs in small group or one-on-one settings, allowing for targeted therapeutic support and relationship-building.

What you bring:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
• Experience or passion for working in school-based settings
• Strong knowledge of OT strategies for pediatric populations
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfort working independently across multiple campuses
• Commitment through December 23rd

What you'll do:

• Evaluate and assess student needs and develop individualized plans
• Provide direct therapy in small groups or individual sessions
• Document progress and maintain collaborative communication with IEP teams
• Consult with educators and families to support student success
• Adapt activities and modify the classroom environment to enhance participation
• Attend meetings relevant to students’ therapy and progress
• Participate actively in a supportive school community
