Ultrasound Technologist - Endicott, NY

Seeking an experienced ultrasound professional for a contract assignment specializing in general ultrasound imaging. This full-time role offers a structured weekday schedule with minimal disruption and no weekend or on-call duties required.


Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency essential
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA
• At least one of the following active credentials:
  • Sonography (S), Vascular Sonography (VS), or Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT
  • Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), or OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED
  • State licensure, if applicable

Preferred Credentials:

• Vascular or Breast Sonography by ARRT
• Breast, OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies across a range of patient demographics
• Properly prep and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review findings and ensure accurate diagnoses
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in electronic systems
• Properly care for and calibrate ultrasound equipment per facility policies
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control standards at all times

This contract offers a consistent, daytime schedule with three 12-hour shifts and no weekend or call requirements-ideal for candidates seeking a work-life balance in a collaborative clinical environment.
