Installation Manager, Training and Tools

With a continuous focus on improvement, Dematic is hiring a Manager of the Installation Training and Tools team. This role will oversee a team of subject‑matter experts across one or more of the 24 technologies and over 300 products in the Dematic Global Catalog. The position is flexible in location with the ability to travel to customer sites. Compensation The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $75,000 to $165,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge and skills. What You Will Do Manage SME support of product development, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. Lead safety initiatives and provide overall product safety leadership. Emphasize high‑quality installations – done right the first time. Support product development and implementation teams to ensure timely delivery. Track effort and provide costing for new products and align with real‑world applications. Train and support project resources, providing feedback to the Resource Team. Manage SME support of Quality, R&D and Execution teams on improvement ideas, manufacturing or delivery deficiencies, improper documentation, costing alignment, installation errors, and required training. Drive reporting to completion through the internal Dematic process. Develop and deliver product training related to installation. Coordinate support for product‑related emergencies for customers. Coordinate support for the estimating group regarding project‑specific pricing and scheduling. Engage with engineering to standardize execution. Support other training topics such as tools and process standards on project sites. Coordinate and track audits related to the quality of product installation. Assist in training subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other MHE equipment. Qualifications Physically able to traverse construction site environments. Willing to travel on short notice and spend up to 75% of time traveling. Associate’s Degree preferred or 5 years of relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and able to navigate MS Project. Project Management training or knowledge of project management methodologies. Knowledge of Lean Guiding Principles (TIMWOOD). OSHA training or certification preferred. Willingness to work weekends as needed. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration. Strong planning and coordination skills with attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dematic
