Director OF Information Security

To lead information security initiatives, the full-time Senior Director of Information Security will manage strategic governance, policy development, and budget oversight while providing hands-on technical leadership in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Establish and optimize security processes and technical controls to protect digital assets and prevent unauthorized access Develop and enforce institutional IT security policies and programs in compliance with relevant legal regulations Oversee incident response efforts and serve as the primary technical lead during security incidents or data breaches Required qualifications 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity and IT experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience managing enterprise security solutions, SIEM systems, and cloud security architectures Direct experience leading incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management Proven ability to interpret and enforce compliance requirements and security standards
