Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Job Description We treat patients of all ages and provide treatment for a variety of concerns including regular physicals, broken bones, infections, flu, abscesses, asthma, lacerations, and much more. We offer in-house X-Rays, EKGS, and many labs in addition to IV therapies to promote overall wellness and hydration. Have walk-in, scheduling an appointment, to virtual appointments We are seeking an experienced and passionate Urgent Care Provider (NP or PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urgent care and be able to provide high quality medical care to patients in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions, as well as providing preventive care services. We are looking for a physician who is committed to providing excellent patient care and is eager to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions. Provide patient education and counseling. Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies. Prescribe medications as needed. Perform minor procedures such as suturing and splinting. Provide follow-up care for patients with chronic conditions. Document patient visits in the electronic medical record system. Maintain a safe and clean environment. Able to work with Electronic Medical Software Responsibilities Evaluating ,diagnosing and treating patients in a urgent care setting both in-person and through telemedicine Treating a wide variety non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses Able to perform small procedures on patients including suturing, abscess drainage, splinting etc. Currently only looking for part time applicants Looking for: Sunday 8am to 8pm, Fridays 2/4pm-8pm and intermittent weekday coverage.
