OT Assistant

DUTIES Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. Assesses patient progress and communicates with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly. Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. SCHEDULE PRN: Flexible schedule. Opportunities for a set schedule when covering vacations. Receives early calls or texts for last‑minute coverage request scenarios. Participates in CEU classes offered to the entire therapy team. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current and active State license/registration where applicable. All levels of experience are welcomed.
