Our organization is seeking a dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join the Nurture Women's Health team in Frisco, TX. Position Highlights:

• Nurture Women's Health has been a trusted practice for over 20 years, serving women in Frisco and the broader Dallas Metro area.
• The practice team includes 4 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner, supported by an excellent administrative staff.
• This role primarily involves clinic work, with no requirements for on-call duties, night shifts, or weekend hours.
• Responsibilities encompass seeing obstetrics and gynecology patients, managing charting, returning patient calls regarding lab results, providing patient education, electronically or telephonically sending prescriptions, and administering medications.
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic women's health issues is a key aspect of the role.
• Providing counseling on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options is essential.
• Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care is expected.
• The clinic sees a patient volume of up to 20 individuals per day.
• Some minimally invasive procedures, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements, will be performed and assisted with in the office.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery or women's health experience as a registered nurse.
• Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) through AANP or ANCC.
• Possession of an unrestricted, active Texas APRN-CNP license or the ability to obtain one.
• Current unrestricted DEA License or the ability to secure one.
• Certification in CPR, BLS, and NALS or the ability to obtain these certifications.
• Skilled in assessment and treatment plan development.
• Strong communication skills with patients, team members, and management.
• Ability to make informed care decisions based on best medical practices independently.
