- Perform daily water testing and maintain proper chemical balance, including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and stabilizer levels.
- Ensure all pools and spas maintain crystal-clear, safe water.
- Skim debris, vacuum pool floors, brush walls and tile lines.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Backwash and clean filtration systems as needed.
- Inspect pumps, motors, heaters, salt systems, filters, and related equipment.
- Identify leaks, wear, and equipment issues, and perform minor repairs or report major maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of water chemistry, maintenance performed, and any repairs or issues requiring attention.
- Ensure all pool and spa areas comply with local health department regulations, OSHA guidelines, and Paradise Lakes Resort standards.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and members.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Friendly, dependable, and committed to providing excellent guest service.
