Registered Nurse

The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare. Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition is essential. Completing all applicable resident assessments is a key responsibility. Medication administration must be performed while following the 5 Rights. Wound care and assessments are to be conducted as needed. Assisting CNAs with answering call lights is part of the duties. Monitoring residents for changes in condition is crucial. Acting as a leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed is required. Reporting any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator is mandatory. Maintaining accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting is necessary. Performing other duties as requested is expected.

Shift: Week one: Saturday & Sunday 1pm-10:30pm, Wednesday 1pm-10:30pm, Thursday 9pm-6:30am

Experience: 1+ years of related work experience preferred

License: Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license

Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required

Must-Have: Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree in nursing preferred; exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
