Key Highlights Weekly pay: $556-$597 per week Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5 days per week, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (per notes) Start date: 09/07/2026 Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (travel assignment) Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust goals based on patient response. Provide direct therapy to individuals and groups and document therapy activities, progress, and outcomes in the medical record. Perform bedside swallow evaluations and, as appropriate, deliver swallowing rehabilitation to improve safety and efficiency. Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, occupational therapy, dietary, social work) to coordinate care and discharge planning. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing strategies; support transition planning.
