Job Title Travel RN – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine) Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule / Job Type Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Call Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main Operating Room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio Support and assist with Neuro/Spine surgical procedures as well as General Surgery and Orthopedic cases Accurately document patient care activities and clinical information using Epic EMR Adhere to all facility dress code standards and OR-specific protocols Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience Current BLS certification NIH certification required Experience with General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures Recent hands-on experience with Epic EMR Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical system Experience with Maxillofacial (Max Face) surgical procedures Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting Why Join Us Work at a large, accredited comprehensive healthcare facility recognized for excellence across multiple specialties including surgical, neurological, cardiovascular, and orthopedic care Birmingham offers a vibrant community with easy access to cultural attractions, parks, dining, and a welcoming professional environment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 770493.
