Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Clinton, IL Agency: Adelphi Healthcare Pay: $57 per hour Shift: Nights Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Position Summary TravelNurseSource is partnering with Adelphi Healthcare to locate a qualified ER/Trauma RN for a contract/travel assignment in Clinton, Illinois, 61727. Requirements Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency or Trauma care Duties & Responsibilities Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as needed, and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER. Provides care that attends to the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient needs; meets the communication needs of patients and families; and demonstrates professional initiative and responsibility. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
