Nocturnist Physician Opportunity

Mercy Fitzgerald is looking for a Nocturnist Physician starting ASAP. Practice Setting: inpatient rounding and admitting. Reason for Coverage: Additional night coverage needed, also have some day shifts available as needed. Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult. Do APPs Provide Coverage? During the day we do have one APP. Will Other Hospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage? Yes during the day, no at night. Average Number of Patients Per Day - ADMISSIONS: 3-4 admissions, 15-20, with resident physician. Average Number of Patients Per Day - ICU: Closed ICU. Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 15-20. Will the Locum Physician Respond to In-House Codes? (Hospital): There is a code team, however if it is your patient would be good if attended also. Areas of Rounding What floors? 1st floor and 4th floor and ER. Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? Yes. Documentation System/EMR: Epic. Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed. Procedures/Duties Required: Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap) ***Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.*** Submission Requirements Board Certified (ABIM) - REQUIRED PA License - REQUIRED ACLS, BLS - REQUIRED Provider Must be local - REQUIRED 25K perm cap - REQUIRED Certification Requirements ACLS BLS State License Requirements Pennsylvania
