Job Title Operations Technician (S) Position Information Position Number: 60038211 Grade: DT04 Description of Work The Information Technology Division (ITD) of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) provides excellence in technology delivery to support the agency’s mission. The Operations Technician is the essential interface between programmers, analysts, and various client groups, ensuring the timely execution of over 900 monthly batch jobs. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining ZEKE event master records, work centers, dates, variables, and condition parameters; managing ZEKE entry changes; cataloging and uncataloging data sets; initiating problem‑resolution procedures to restart jobs; uploading and downloading files to and from the mainframe; designing batch scheduling interfaces; coding utility parameters for date calculations and report generation; and coordinating with analysts, programmers, and clients to resolve issues.
