About the Position

Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-week seasonal contract | 4 weekend shifts per schedule | On-call required

Highlights:

• Level IV NICU with 65 beds and experienced team of 200+ healthcare professionals
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
• Advanced equipment including isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and more
• EMR systems: Meditech and CPN
• Night shift team includes charge nurse, team leader, transport nurse, RNs, RTs, and unit assistants
• Potential for permanent positions available on night shift and weekend days

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Navy scrubs required
