At QAD, machinists are the go-to persons for setups, programming, and overall machine improvements. They ensure that the machines are running at their maximum capacity so that top quality parts are produced.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and guidance to CNC operators as neededPerform setups and changeoversTroubleshoot machine issuesPerform scheduled maintenance plans for all machinesKeep work areas safe, productive, and cleanAssist in maintaining team efficiencyQualifications5+ years' experience of CNC machine set ups and/or programming requiredAbility to read, comprehend, and interpret mechanical blueprintsProficient in using digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools.Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently requiredExcellent problem solving abilityDedicated work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetExperience with FANUC controls is a plusKnowledge of G-code and M-code programming requiredSchedule8-hour shifts, Monday-FridayFirst, second, or third shift opportunities with shift pay differentialsWeekends and holidays as neededOvertime availableBenefitsWe offer group medical insurance after 90 days of full-time employment.Nine paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick leave.Eligible to participate in a 401(k)-retirement plan, with company matching, after 1 year of full-time employment.Full-time employees have access to company equipment such as bows, indoor range, and outdoor 3D range after 90 days of full-time employment.Job Tags: CNC Machinist, Swiss Machining, CNC Programmer, CNC Lead, Manufacturing, Precision Machining, Archery, Family Environment
