About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance and Controlling in the Asia Pacific Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial and controlling activities within the region, including the strategic development and execution of regional finance strategies. This role involves overseeing the regional capital structure, financial resources, and ensuring alignment with the Chief Financial Officer. The VP will also be a key business partner to the regional leadership team, providing insightful analysis and challenging existing plans to facilitate informed decision-making. Operational alignment, risk management, and the development of comprehensive risk management strategies are also key aspects of the position. Candidates for this role should have a Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are advantageous. A minimum of 15 years' of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and driving financial performance in a complex organizational environment, is required. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and operationally, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and the identification of opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
