BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Winston-Salem, NC 27104 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.
Position Details
- Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
- Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27104
- Pay: $23/hr
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
- Start Date: 7/14/26
- Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract‑to‑Hire
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
Requirements
- EPA or HVAC certification required
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
