Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its Center for Digestive Diseases. This position is part of a collaborative and dynamic team of 4 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care for gastrointestinal and liver conditions. The role offers access to a strong referral base, supportive mentorship, and opportunities to practice a wide range of procedures, with optional GI Hospitalist responsibilities. Candidates with interests in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatology, and therapeutic endoscopy are encouraged to apply.

Shift / Schedule

• Full-time position (FTE 1.0)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage gastrointestinal and liver diseases
• Perform endoscopic and other GI-related procedures
• Provide patient-centered care using advanced techniques and technologies
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs within the Center for Digestive Diseases
• Participate in maintaining high standards of clinical care and outcomes
• Contribute to a team-oriented, mentoring-focused clinical environment
• Manage inpatient and/or outpatient responsibilities as assigned (including optional hospitalist duties)

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology (Board Status not specified but typically expected)
• Eligible for or able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license (not required at time of application)
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to work full-time in a hospital-employed setting
• Interest in IBD, hepatology, and/or therapeutic endoscopy preferred
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
• H1B visa candidates accepted
