More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day.A Brief OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care based on AWOHNN and NRP standards of care and professional nursing practice; accountable for the outcomes of nursing care delivered.What you will doCirculating with c-sections, recovering patients post c-section, and pre-oping c-section patients.Ensure documentation is completed on patients.Provide Medication Safety with BMV scanning, hand hygiene, patient identification, medication reconciliation, and patient medication education.Participate in monthly review/unit progress meetings with Clinical DirectorEducation QualificationsAssociate's Degree in nursing. (ADN) RequiredBachelor's Degree in nursing. (BSN) PreferredMaster's Degree in nursing. (MSN) PreferredExperience QualificationsMinimum two (2) years of acute nursing experience. RequiredLicenses and CertificationsRegistered Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing RequiredNeonatal Resuscitation Program - American Academy of Pediatrics If not certified, must obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 30 days of employment RequiredBasic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
