Facilitates the daily operations of a function, program, or department. Assists in program planning and development. Interprets, monitors, and analyzes information related to operating policies and procedures. Administers budgets and coordinates academic and staff personnel matters. Resolves problems that significantly impact the overall goals of the program and/or department.Applies professional-level knowledge and principals of function to solve problems requiring the identification and analysis of non-routine factors. Uses independent judgement and discretion to determine or recommend best course of action.Duties include but are not limited to:Duties include, but are not limited to, organizing team travel and coordinating all team travel arrangements (e.g., transportation, off-site practices, meals), assisting in coordinating on-campus official and unofficial visits, and in developing recruiting materials (e.g., general correspondence).Work InteractionsThis person will oversee the student managers’ involvement in game day and video responsibilities. Represent the University in donor/alumni relations and community programs. In conjunction with the Director of Equipment and Transportation, the Director of Operations will order team apparel and equipment, organize and monitor inventory. The Director of Operations will serve as the men’s basketball liaison to the Academic Resource Center, the academic advisor assigned to men’s basketball, and keep the Head Coach informed as necessary.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience required.Work Mode DesignationThis position has been designated as On-Campus.
