Maintenance Supervisor, Multifamily Job OverviewThe Multifamily Property Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, quality and timely service, and personal attention to our residents. The Maintenance Supervisor responds to resident service requests and is instrumental in helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service. Responsibilities Prepare all market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product for residents. Complete resident service requests in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of various maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliances, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life‑safety issues. Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean and free of trash, debris, and other safety issues. Perform on‑call emergency procedures as required. Report any maintenance issues that affect the budget, such as life‑safety concerns, vacant repairs, property damages, and common‑area needs, to the manager. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record all activities. Possess knowledge of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance. Participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield and local city and state jurisdictions. Provide superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Qualifications 3+ years of related on‑site multifamily maintenance experience. High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school. Valid Driver’s License. EPA 608 – Minimum Type II certification, or CPO, or local city required certificate. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent, and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment. Ability to work any shift Sunday‑Saturday to support the company's business needs.
