Telemetry RN - Cardiac Stepdown

Shift: 1845–0715 (Nights)

Contract length: 13–26 weeks accepted Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Minimum 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months of cardiac experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Preferred: arterial line management, wound care/Wound Vac, charge experience Must pass EKG testing prior to start Documentation system experience with Epic preferred

Provide comprehensive care for patients in a post-cardiac surgery and stepdown setting. Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage dysrhythmia interpretation and management. Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and perform sheath removal and chest tube care. Support patients with non-invasive airway interventions (CPAP/BiPAP). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation. Participation in Storm/Hurricane/Mass Casualty response may be required. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required. Interview required prior to offer; candidates must provide interview availability upon submission. Additional onboarding and testing must be completed as per facility instructions.
