As a Security Officer Access Control in New Haven, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 AM - 10:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior and exterior areas, gates, docks, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
Assist with traffic and vehicle access procedures by helping to deter unauthorized entry, directing approved vehicles to designated areas, and documenting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
