Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Join our team as a Physical Therapist in a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Experience small-town charm and easy access to Chicago and Lake Michigan, providing a unique work-life balance.
Location: Crown Point, Indiana
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: Days, with rotation every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions for a diverse patient population, including stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, debility, amputation, spinal cord issues, and neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in the Electronic Health Record system (Epic).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a therapy setting, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation.
