Laboratory Technician

Job Title Laboratory Technician Location 370 Frankfort Road, Monaca, PA 15061 (100% onsite) Hours 42.50 hours per week; lunch time 30 minutes. Shift Details All candidates must be willing and able to work 12‑hour rotating shifts including weekends. Work schedule typically alternates between a 36‑hour week (3 days × 12 hrs) and a 48‑hour week (4 days × 12 hrs). Flexible scheduling is accommodated. Responsibilities Provide lab support to the manufacturing process and confirm quality of product before shipment to customer. Conduct analytical testing on emulsion polymerization products and plant wastewater in support of in‑process and finished goods 24/7 ISO 9001 manufacturing operations. Accurately measure physical properties (pH, viscosity, solids, PSD) and composition (GC, HPLC, FTIR, titrations) for latex products. Enter data and retrieve information from LIMS (IQS), SAP, and other software packages. Maintain accuracy and communicate results effectively. Pay close attention to detail. Qualifications Opportunity for temporary assignment to become a permanent position. Experience Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a lab position of increasing responsibility. Education Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology or other science with minimum 6 months industrial experience in QA/QC, R&D, analytical or environmental laboratory. OR high school diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years relevant industrial lab experience in QA/QC, R&D, analytical or environmental laboratory.
