Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Electrician, you will be a central figure responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant power distribution throughout our facilities. You will play a vital role in supporting our infrastructure, preventing disruptions, and upholding safety standards. Every day, you will expertly diagnose electrical malfunctions, meticulously install and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and components, and perform preventive maintenance on diverse electrical systems, from basic outlets to complex machinery. You will also interpret blueprints and schematics, adhere strictly to electrical codes and safety regulations, and collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure efficient and safe operation of all electrical assets. Responsibilities Conduct required NFPA testing, documentation, and operation of emergency power systems and emergency lighting systems throughout Real Estate properties. Perform preventive maintenance on normal power distribution systems and respond to calls for trouble on equipment; maintain interior and exterior lighting systems; repair and maintain other equipment and systems such as medical gas, vacuum systems, fire detection, energy plant equipment, building HVAC, and other facilities equipment and controls; document work orders in the electronic work order system. Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and facility equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, report findings, and make necessary corrections. Locate and purchase repair parts, maintain inventory consistent with budget and equipment priority, and adhere to appropriate management approvals and policies. Respond to calls from the work call center, accurately complete work orders, coordinate repairs and other service requests with customers’ schedules, and provide timely status reports on equipment condition. Qualifications Valid Electrician's license. Extensive experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems. Profound understanding of electrical theory, codes, and safety procedures. Exceptional diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands‑on environment. Driver's license (NE), upon hire. Preferred Qualifications High School Graduate with general studies and technical training in the field, upon hire. High School GED with general studies and technical training in the field, upon hire.
