Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in reducing anxiety, managing stress, and enhancing their overall psychological well-being. \n
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness and therapeutic strategies accordingly. \n
- Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness and emotional equilibria. Examples may include leading daily meditation sessions or one-on-one mindfulness practice. \n
- Facilitate group workshops and community classes on mindfulness practices, resilience, and stress management, creating a space for shared experiences and growth. \n
- Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions targeted at specific mental health concerns like depression or anxiety, enhancing clients' emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. \n
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to integrate mindfulness strategies into a holistic treatment plan. \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions aligning with best practices and organizational standards. \n
- Engage in continual self-reflection, personal mindfulness practice, and participate in ongoing professional development to enrich your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches. \n
This position primarily serves adult clients who are seeking mental health support, particularly those aiming to overcome life challenges related to stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being. Your interventions will focus on fostering resilience and enhancing life quality through structured mindfulness practices.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is essential. \n
- Proficiency in mindfulness interventions is preferred, although we value your willingness to learn and grow in this area. \n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, creating a nurturing environment conducive to supportive therapy. \n

- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling role is essential for thriving in this position. \n
