Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components Performs other duties and assignments as required Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to read and understand load plans Ability to read and understand production drawings Basic component identification skills Ability to build electronic assemblies Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft and Outlook programs (Excel, Word, Internet Explorer) Ability to communicate issues in an effective manner Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization. Ability to perform preventive maintenance with various tools including multimeter. Required Experience and Education H.S. Diploma or GED This is a generic job posting for a SMT Operator.
