Project Manager - Data Center ProjectsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects. The role focuses on managing schedules, budgets and stakeholders while ensuring technical compliance, electrical integrity, and operational readiness for critical infrastructure builds and upgrades. The successful candidate will combine strong project management discipline with hands-on knowledge of data center systems and electrical requirements to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full project lifecycle for data center construction, upgrades, and retrofit projects from initiation through closeout.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress and drive corrective actions to meet milestones.Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, electrical, civil, mechanical, commissioning, operations, and external contractors to ensure alignment and timely execution.Manage procurement and vendor relationships: scope reviews, contractor selection, change order control, and performance management.Review and validate electrical designs and specifications; coordinate with design teams to ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC) and data center standards.Oversee site construction activities, conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality assurance and control.Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts; maintain risk register and contingency plans to minimize schedule and cost impacts.Facilitate regular project meetings and stakeholder communications; prepare executive-level status reports and dashboards.Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities with operations teams to ensure smooth transition to live environment.Ensure project documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and closeout deliverables are complete and archived.QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of project management experience with a focus on data center projects or critical infrastructure.Proven experience managing electrical systems work within data center environments and familiarity with data center topology and components.Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.Strong knowledge of construction processes, change management, contract administration, and safety regulations.Hands-on experience with project scheduling and cost control tools (MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit drawings.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors.Ability to travel to project sites as required and work in high-consequence, fast-paced environments.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
