Details Work in the Post Surgical PACU unit of a hospital setting Day shift schedule with 4, 10-hour rotating shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Weekend requirement of 2 weekends per month, working 12-hour shifts (Sat/Sun counts as one weekend) On-call requirement of one night per week Floating required to other units within surgical services Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license Current BLS certification via AHA required Current ACLS certification via AHA required Current PALS certification via AHA required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Additional Information Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to identify progress and trends requiring intervention Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established nursing standards Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning Perform various Point of Care testing procedures Dress code requires graphite gray scrubs Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility in a non-travel capacity must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-737764.
