Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred)
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day.
• Willingness to float to other clinics as needed during the assignment.
• Ability to work an 8‑hour day schedule with a guarantee of 36 hours and expectation to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Approval required from director before working overtime hours.
• PT applicants only. PTA candidates will not be accepted.
• First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered. (Preferred)

• Patient Population: Outpatient orthopedics.
• Float Requirement: Candidate must be willing to float to other clinics as needed.
• Productivity Expectation: Approximately 60 visits per week; double‑booking of follow‑up visits expected.
• Team Option: Opportunity to work with a travel team in this clinic or a neighboring clinic.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours per week.
