American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based Physical Therapy department, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and a compact or Maine PT license.

Hospital-based Physical Therapy department

Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

40 hours per week

13-week contract

Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required

Active compact or Maine state PT license required (license required if applicable)

BLS certification required

Two professional references within the past year required; at least one must be from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted)

Full SSN required for consideration

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Flu vaccination required for clearance to start

Manager interviews are required for this position

Candidates must have a permanent address located 100+ miles South or Southwest of Bangor, ME to be eligible

Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission

Medical exemptions only are accepted for flu vaccination, subject to facility review and approval; a minimum of 2 weeks must be allowed for the exemption review process

Work history should include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital experience, and EMR/charting information where applicable
