Preventative Maintenance Account Manager Tessiers is seeking a proactive, influential communicator that drives top line revenue and has a strong desire to close deals, in the Sioux Falls, SD area. This individual will play a vital role in the expansion of our client base, drive revenue growth, and build relationships with new customers. Job Responsibilities Drive Tessiers' annual growth of our preventive maintenance contracts and other recurring services business Establish contact with potential qualified buyers of preventive maintenance services by diligently scheduling sales calls, following up on leads quickly after they’re identified, and helping to execute outlined marketing strategies. Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and reviewing your findings with the appropriate customer personnel. Prepare and present effective proposals that offer solutions to mechanical service needs. Contribute to the pricing approach of preventive maintenance agreements. Maintain and report on Tessiers' sales business plan and attend monthly sales call. Develop and maintain an active proposal pipeline to support the established sales business plan. Develop caring and enduring customer relationships that meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Support colleagues and other APi Group teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory and cross‑selling opportunities. Lead customer presentations, “lunch and learns", and other relationship‑building activities. Continually develop your understanding of all Tessiers' pricing strategies, worksheets, and contract terms. Work closely with Tessiers Mechanical Inspection Sales Leader to align support with priorities. Consistently evaluate if you’re “getting the right work with the right customers.” Other duties as assigned. Specific Requirements: May require bending, stooping or kneeling May require light lifting of storage boxes, packages, etc. Navigate stairs and ladders as needed for access within various facilities. Job Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in direct sales and territory development for mechanical service, or as an HVAC services manager/coordinator. Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Ability to create and deliver client presentations and respond to questions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Dynamics CRM). Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company policy. Ability to work effectively collaboratively within a team. Your success will be measured by your achievement of these objectives: Meeting or exceeding individual new preventative maintenance contract sales, proposals, and customer connections goals and activity. Being a relentless pursuer of knowledge about emerging technologies in the life safety industry, including updated policies and regulations in your market. Having a minimum of one face‑to‑face visit with an existing customer per week. Your commitment to speaking with customers with aged receivables approaching 120 days. Actively participating in at least one local trade organization. Being a regular participant in the Learning and Development opportunities available through Tessiers and APi Group. Tracking all customer connections, proposals, and wins in Tessiers supported customer relationship management (CRM) system.
