Overview Registered Nurse - Operating Room, Travel, Pittsfield, MA. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. 40 hours per week, day shift. Setting: Surgery Center. Weekly pay range: $2,834–$3,095. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,834–$3,095 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 40 hours per week, day shift (approximately 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) Start date: 07/20/2026 Setting: Operating Room in a surgery center Licenses and certifications: MA RN license active; Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required up front; CNOR required; BLS (AHA) required; BSN degree required; 2 years' First Assist OR experience required; Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred Responsibilities Function as First Assistant in the OR under surgeon supervision, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures Assist with tissue retraction, suction, hemostasis, instrument handling, and patient positioning Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to changes in condition, and communicate with the anesthesia team as needed Prepare and maintain the OR environment, assist with instrument counts, and support efficient room turnover Adhere to perioperative protocols, safety standards, and accurate intraoperative documentation; participate in hand-offs and post-operative care as assigned Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required and must be uploaded with profile BSN degree required CNOR certification required; BLS (AHA) required Minimum 2 years’ current First Assist Operating Room experience Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred Own reliable vehicle for travel to assignment location Ability to work 8-hour day shifts; on-call by rotation as needed All scheduling and RTO requests must be noted at submission (no post-offer changes) Willingness to work in a OR setting within a surgery center environment Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Assistance with credentialing and profile readiness to expedite onboarding Regular pay cycles and ongoing assignment coordination Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
